The large guest house “DK HOUSE,” which is popular in Tokyo, has now opened in the beautiful port town of Kobe, a place of history, modernism, and nature!
All private rooms are equipped with a washbasin and a balcony, and are fully furnished. Internet and television access points are also available, and privacy is guaranteed.
In communal spaces, you will be able to interact with people from all over the world and make use of facilities you would never usually never find in private apartments such as a large Japanese style spa, a living room with comfortable sofas and a café style dining room. Living at “DK HOUSE” is an extraordinary experience, and you will feel as if you are living in another country.
For those who require it, healthy breakfasts and dinners can also be provided in house.
Cut back on useless spending with our facilities that come equipped with furniture and appliances.

Joyfit sports club is a five minute walk from DK HOUSE Kobe.
When residents of DK HOUSE Kobe sign up all joining and commission fees are waived, meaning you can use all the club’s facilities for the monthly usage fee only!

Convenient location!

There is a large shopping mall only a three minute walk away. Stores there include a discount supermarket, a home wares store, a convenience store, a Japanese style spa (with a large bath and swimming pool), diners, a sushi-train restaurant and an electronics store.
DK HOUSE Kobe is an eight minute walk from Shinzaike station on Hanshin line, a ten minuet walk from Oishi station, and by train it takes thirteen minuets to Sannomiya and thirty-eight minuets to Umeda.

(1) Rent fees by room type:
Type A (9.2m²) ¥48,000 / month
Type B (18.4m²) ¥60,000 / month

(2) Initial payment
The initial payment includes the deposit, Administrative Fee, as well as rent and utility fees for the first part of your stay.
The ¥50,000 will be fully refunded upon moving out of DK HOUSE Kobe provided the room is clean and undamaged and there are no outstanding rent payments.
The administrative fee of ¥10,000 is a processing fee that is not returned.
The common service fee of ¥9,000 per month is for expenses such as utilities, cleaning fees and internet access fees.
The common services fee for the first floor is ¥7,000 (no internet access).

(3) Discount for lump sum payment
There is a special discount for advance payment of rent in full.
1) 6 month lump sum payment: discount of ¥2,000 /month (Save ¥12,000!)
2) 12 month lump sum payment: discount of ¥2,500 yen/month (Save ¥30,000!)

(4) Contract Period and Rental Payments
The minimum contract length is, in principle, three months. If your move-in date falls in the middle of the month, the initial rent will be calculated on a daily basis. From then on, rent is paid in monthly installments. If you would like to stay for less than three months, please contact the house manager directly.
If moving out of your room in the middle of the month, rent paid previously covering the remainder of the month will not be refunded.
For any inquiries regarding rent payments, please contact the house manager.

(5) Contract Renewal Process
The contract can be renewed after paying the ¥15,000 renewal fee.

A message from our staff
DK HOUSE Kobe is located right between Kobe and Osaka. You can even see Mount Rokkō!
We have self-locking doors and security cameras so that the guest house is safe and secure. There is also a women’s only floor.
We offer life within an international community in the Kansai area!

Life at DK HOUSE Kobe
Our guest house is located in a very convenient area near a large supermarket, shopping stores, and family type restaurants.
We are opening in September 2011, and aim to create a guesthouse in which residents from all over the world can come together like one big family.

Facilities at DK HOUSE Kobe
We have a large Japanese style spa in which you can relieve the day's fatigue, and also a dining room decorated in the style of a wine bar where you can order meals seven days a week.
We also have a number of electric bicycles available for use to allow all residents to enjoy an more eco-friendly lifestyle.
As well as that, our communal spaces are cleaned daily and are always clean and hygienic.
