DK HOUSE Shiki is located only 21 minutes from Ikebukuro and 33 minutes from Shibuya. Plus, you can feel safe, even when you come home late at night, because it's only a 3-minute walk from the nearest station. We have two big super-markets with late night services, six banks, one department store and even a sports gym all within a 5-minute walk. All of our rooms are fully furnished with their own balconies and private basins. A wide storage space under the bed is also quite popular among our residents. Behind the house are a park and kindergarten, and from some rooms you can enjoy a great view of Mt. Fuji.

(1) Rent fees by room type:
One person room (10m²)
2-4F ¥53,000 / month
5-6F ¥50,000 / month

(2) Initial payment
The initial payment includes the deposit, as well as rent and utility fees for the first part of your stay.
The ¥30,000 will be fully refunded upon moving out of DK HOUSE Shiki provided the room is clean and undamaged and there are no outstanding rent payments.
The common service fee of ¥9,000 per month is for expenses such as utilities, cleaning fees and internet access fees.
The common services fee for the first floor is ¥7,000 (no internet access).

(3) Discount for lump sum payment
There is a special discount for advance payment of rent in full.
1) 6 month lump sum payment: discount of ¥2,000 /month (Save ¥12,000!)
2) 12 month lump sum payment: discount of ¥2,500 yen/month (Save ¥30,000!)

(4) Contract Period and Rental Payments
The minimum contract length is, in principle, three months. If your move-in date falls in the middle of the month, the initial rent will be calculated on a daily basis. From then on, rent is paid in monthly installments. If you would like to stay for less than three months, please contact the house manager directly.
If moving out of your room in the middle of the month, rent paid previously covering the remainder of the month will not be refunded.

We have a variety of residents. Some residents have been staying here for more than 7 years while some stay only for a month for business or tourism purposes. We are also proud of having many returning guests. We will respond to all of your needs.

The Atmosphere at DK HOUSE Shiki
About half of our residents are Japanese, and the other half are from the United States, Sweden, Italy, France, Poland, China, Korea and all around the world. On the first floor, there is a dining area, a kitchen, a PC room, and vending machines, and casual chatting with other residents is always possible. In contrast, from the second to sixth floors are private rooms where many residents study hard to achieve their respective goals.

Features of DK HOUSE Shiki
Each room has its own balcony and washing basin. You can use water whenever you want, and you may not need to use a dryer for your laundry. The location is also ideal, having a super-market which is open until 11:00pm, a 100-yen shop, convenience stores and banks. A train station is also nearby.
